Invoices, paying and payment cards

How and when we bill you, and where to find everything to do with paying.

When you are invoiced

  • Most services are invoiced for the first month when you order, and set up once that invoice is paid.
  • Virtual servers are reviewed by us first, then invoiced. Nothing is charged before that.
  • SSL certificates are invoiced once, for the certificate's term.
  • Monthly services renew automatically each month, in advance, until you cancel them.

Prices are in pounds sterling. The price shown before you order is the price you pay, and the order page says whether VAT is added.

Find and pay an invoice

Each invoice is emailed to you. You can also find them in your account:

  • My Orders lists your invoices and quotes, with their status and due date. Unpaid ones have a Pay now button, and you can download each one as a PDF.
  • The Billing tab on your dashboard shows your latest invoice.
  • Billing & Invoices opens our billing portal, already signed in, for statements.

To pay, choose Pay now and pay by card. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider; your card number never reaches our servers.

Receipts

Billing History lists every payment you have made, with a printable receipt for each.

Payment cards

A card is saved the first time you pay, or you can add one on Payment Cards. From there you can add cards, remove them, and choose which one is your Default.

When your default card is within two months of expiring, we email you and the dashboard shows a reminder. Replace it before it expires.

Seeing what you spend

Spending shows what you have spent this month and last, what is due in the next 30 days, and where it goes by group, service, month or tag. The figures refresh every fifteen minutes.

If a renewal is not paid

If a renewal is not paid, we may suspend the service until it is, and may end it if it stays unpaid. See our terms. If you are having trouble paying, talk to us early.
