Point your domain at your web hosting
When you order web hosting you give us your domain, such as example.com. You
do not need to have pointed it at us before you order.
What we set up
Your site answers on your domain and on its www. address. If you typed
www.example.com when ordering, we use example.com and add www. for you.
Setup is automatic once the first invoice is paid, and usually takes a few minutes. The site's page in Web Hosting says when it is ready.
Pointing your domain here
Until your domain's DNS points at us, nobody can see the site on your domain. The Pointing your domain here panel on your site's page has a link to ask us for the records: raise a ticket for your site and we will send them.
While you wait, you can check your upload on the preview address if your site has one.
Where your DNS is hosted matters for HTTPS
The free certificate for your site is only issued when your domain's DNS is hosted by us. If you keep DNS with your registrar or another provider, your site will not get a free certificate. Read about HTTPS before you decide.
More than one domain
Each web hosting order is one domain plus its www. address. Adding further
domains to the same site is not self-service; ask us.
