VPS GB is open: ARM cloud servers and hosting from a UK business
VPS GB is open. Anyone can now browse our ARM servers and hosting, see every price, sign up and order. Everything is billed monthly with no contract.
We are a small UK business, and everything we sell runs on 64-bit ARM: Ampere Altra processors in machines we own, hosted in the UK. That is a deliberate choice, and the why we only run ARM post explains it.
What you can order today
- ARM VPS: from 1 vCPU and 1 GB of memory up to 16 vCPUs and 64 GB, in basic, general purpose, compute and memory optimised sizes. You pay the first month at checkout and the server is built as soon as payment clears. A public IPv4 address is a monthly add-on.
- Web hosting: a site, an FTP account and a database, built within minutes of payment, with free auto-renewing HTTPS.
- Reseller hosting: sell hosting under your own name.
- Game servers: your own server with a full control panel (console, file manager, backups, mods and scheduled restarts). There are also app runners for Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Bun and Deno, and database servers.
- Load balancers and object storage.
- SSL certificates (DV, OV and EV) and monitoring for the things you already run.
Prices on the site are the prices you pay. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
Will my software run on ARM?
Almost certainly, if it is open source. Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky and Alpine all ship native ARM builds, and so do PHP, Node.js, Python, Go, Java, PostgreSQL, MariaDB and most Docker images. What does not run is closed-source x86-only software and Windows.
Is ARM good for servers? has the full yes-and-no list, and our ARM page has a five-minute check you can run before you order.
How we run it
- A whole core, not half of one. Altra cores are single-threaded, so no hyperthread sibling shares your core's execution units with somebody else's workload, and they run at a fixed clock with no turbo.
- One dashboard for every service: servers, sites, invoices, support tickets and an API with Terraform support.
- People you can talk to. Support is by ticket, email and phone, and it comes from the people who run the hardware. The help centre covers the common questions.
- Public monitoring. Every service is monitored, and the results are on our status page.
Try it
Create an account, pick a product and you are running in minutes. If you are not sure what fits, ask us. We would rather spend five minutes helping you choose than sell you the wrong thing.
